This started last night, as I have re-doing my ENTIRE iTunes library since iTunes 7.3 KILLED it (again, not happy) I was down to the "S's" in the list, and BOOM, windows started shutting down, PC hung up, so I restarted and this is now where I sit.Īnother recent problem is that the iMac REFUSES to boot if I have my USB Hard Drives turned on, so get this, EACH AND EVERY time I reboot, I need to shut them off, then let OSX boot, then turn them on. If I leave it at this mysterious wallpaper nothingness for long enought, I get that HUGE power symbol and the note saying I need to restart my Mac, which I do, and again, NOTHING. I have restarted this stupid thing so many times in the last few days I can't even tell you. Option + Apple + ESC does nothing, Verify Disc (pre-boot) didn't help, Repair Disc didn't help.

The Mac boots up, gets past the Apple Logo, Gets to a blue screen, then gets to my wallpaper (IE desktop) and THAT'S IT! It will not load Icons, dashboard, NOTHING. I'm really starting to get mad at switching from Windows, I did this to avoid this kinda CRAP, and now it's starting to really wear thin on me.
